Missionary Intern

Meet Destiny Ruth, a devoted servant of Christ whose journey is deeply intertwined with the transformative ministry of Mt. Hope Bible Camp. Destiny's spiritual path took a significant turn when, at the age of 10, she made the life-changing decision to follow Christ during her time at camp. Since then, Mt. Hope has played a pivotal role in nurturing and guiding her relationship with God, providing invaluable discipleship and support along the way.  Destiny's passion for serving others and sharing the Gospel led her to pursue missionary work, and she has recently been accepted as a missionary with SCORE International. Her commitment to missions extends beyond her new role, as she has also stepped into an internship position at Mt. Hope, where she continues to serve and inspire others.  In addition to her roles at camp, Destiny serves as the Director of Compass School Ministries, where she imparts biblical teachings to third-grade students on a weekly basis in collaboration with Northwest Local Schools. Her love for God and His people shines through in everything she does, whether it's teaching, mentoring, or leading.  At the youthful age of 23, Destiny also takes on the responsibility of leading the youth at Hills Chapel Church, where she shares her wisdom, guidance, and infectious enthusiasm with the next generation of believers.  Residing in Otway, Ohio, Destiny's life is a testament to her unwavering dedication to God, His people, missions, and the transformative power of biblical teaching. As she continues to walk in faith and service, Destiny's impact will undoubtedly reach far and wide, leaving a lasting legacy of love and devotion in her wake.
